Stephen Carradini

I recorded Stephen Carradini last night. We tracked bass and piano. We started this project back in April and we are hopefully going to finish it soon. Next Wednesday we will record drums and vocals. We did this in an interesting order, but I like it. He used a click track on all the songs so there should be no problems. I will also be mixing the album. Stay tuned!

Long time no update.

So we have been working very hard on the debut album for Skyline Circle "Lights in perfect Rows". The CD has been in Mastering for the last week or so. We are selecting artwork and getting the business taken care of. It is long and tedious process. The end result will be something we are very proud of and should represent us as a band, and over all our message that God is real, alive, loving.

for updates on the progress check our twitter here or our blog here

Little Rock...ROCKS!

I am in Little Rock Arkansas for my friend Pauls wedding. I arrived early this evening. I ate dinner by myself while Paul was at his rehearsal dinner. I ate at place called Loco Luna...DE-LISH-SHUSS!!!!! I had a seafood platter and an amazing Toffee Chocolate brownie cake. I then found a place to park my car and walked around a river side park next to the Arkansas River. I walked across a bridge...and it was really cool. I saw a river boat and what looked to be a Chinese nuclear submarine dock at the shore. All in all a good day. Tomorrow my buddy is getting married to the love of his life. I cant wait until its my turn!
Here are some pics.

Day one in Valencia!

Mom and I arrived today at 12:00 noon Valencia time. Julie and Shinae were waiting for us. We first took a taxi to their house, then toured the city center. It is amazing here in Spain! Such beautiful architecture and art! After touring the city center we hit the beach...all on little to no sleep. After seeing a some old topless ladies (EWW!) we went back to our home away from home. After settleing down a bit we went to Pepe Pica and ate Paella. It was wonderful! It is the traditional Valencian dish. Now we are stuffed and ready to leave for Rome tommorrow! Well almost... the ladies just need to pack first...off to help!!

Skyline Circle Opportunities!

Skyline Circle has been an ongoing faith based
ministry shared within the small circle of three
friends. We have come a long way on our
own, and in order to continually move forward
and reach more people, we are now giving
everyone an opportunity to partner with us in
our ministry through our new Ministry Partner
Program.
Proceeds from your partnership with Skyline
Circle will help the us cover the expenses of
CD production and radio play to spread our
ministry message beyond our local area. God
has been providing our needs for over a year
now in every way imaginable. And now we
are trying to expand our ministry by asking our
friends and family to partner with us
so that more people can receive the message
about how the God of the universe works in
our everyday lives.

This link explains everything including what donors receive for they're contributions. CHECK IT OUT :)

Talihina Driving tomorrow!

The Talimena Scenic Byway is well known for it's scenic beauty. It's a 55-mile route that bridges the distance between Mena, Ark. and Talihina, Ok.

We will be heading to Talihina Ok tomorrow for a youth retreat show. We are going to play a 12 song set and hopefully share our hearts with the kids there. I am very excited to play again.

Quick Update

Saturday, January 24, 2009

driving, me crazy?

I am sitting in my car. In the back seat. I should get used to this. Skyline Circle has been working on booking a tour. We have spent lots of hours on the phone and even more time in front of the computer. I haven't recorded any bands in awhile. I am however starting a Sound Effects company. I will release more details later. For now what I can say is it will be operated by me and 2 friends from Full Sail.

If you know me then you know I am excited about President Obama. It is the start of a new age in US history. We needed something fresh. Weather you like him or hate him I say to you: give him chance. He may do great things or terrible things. Let's just wait and see.
Remeber that ultimately love, not hate, is what will solve our problems.
Thanks for stopping by
Stay classy,
JB

"Juggling" a Mountain of friends and Family...

Hey all or none. We went to Mount Diablo yesterday it is a 4,800 ft mountain that overlooks San Ramon (Where my Aunt lives). You can see all the way out to San Francisco, and all the way to the Sierra Mountains. The views were breath taking and it was a very good time. People were biking and hiking up the mountain. It was a very well kept place. We also had a surprise party for my grandmother. This was the reason fro my trip to Cali. All of her old friends from Sacramento were at the steak house that we ate at, just waiting for us to arrive. We had a great time and it was nice to meet new people. One friend I met on this trip is Jon. He is my uncles next door neighbor. He runs an online software business called Class Juggler. It helps dance studios, and like studios, manage their taxes, payments, and schedule, and it is all Web based software! Check itout if you are in need of an awesome, "Class Juggling" software app.

Rabbits are invading Macworld!

So I saw some pretty cool stuff at Macworld today, like the Back to the Future DeLorean, iPhone toys, people in bunny ears...wait what!? But seriously poeple were walking around in bunny ears. I have no clue what booth gave them out but i really wanted some and could not find them. Oh well, next time... We got to play with all sorts of toys, computers, and a whole plethora of iPhone junk. I also got lots of free stuff, such as this mini speaker for my iPhone that I will probably never use. One of the best parts was seeing a bunch of people walking around in the bunny ears though. Until Next time...
